🎭 CASTING CALL: Singers & Musicians Needed for Concert of New Broadway-Bound Musical

Across the Amazons, A New Original Musical
Tri-Cities, Tennessee (Johnson City Area)

We are seeking singers with musical theatre and acting experience, along with musicians, for an upcoming developmental concert of Across the Amazons, a new original musical based on the extraordinary true story of Isabel Grameson Godin.

In 1769, Isabel left her aristocratic life in the Andes of Nueva Granada (present-day Ecuador) and embarked on a perilous journey across the Amazon rainforest to reunite with her long-absent husband. Facing unimaginable hardship, loss, and isolation, she became the first woman in recorded history to cross the South American continent.

This culturally rich production features original world-beat inspired music by award-winning composer Justin Rayna, a libretto by internationally renowned tropical ecologist Dr. Laura K. Marsh, and lyrics by a team of writers including Marina Pires.
