Adrienne Acevedo Lovette | Director, Producer

Adrienne Acevedo Lovette is an award-winning director, actor, writer, producer and filmmaker. She is a SXSW Audience Award winner and SUNDANCE Collab Film Challenge winner. She was also named “Women Directing Mentorship Semifinalist” through Series Fest sponsored by Shonda Rhimes company Shondaland. She has directed award-winning webseries and short films, and is currently beginning her festival run for her psychological drama feature called I’M OKAY, WE’RE OKAY, which she co-wrote, produced, directed and starred in, and a coming-of-age Latinx pilot drama called THIS BOY’S VIDA; MADE IN AMERICA. Adrienne directed the award-winning psychological horror film HIDDEN DAYLIGHT, which won "Best Film" at Phoenix Comicon, "Best Short Film" at Freak Show Horror Film Festival, and earned her the title of "Women in Horror Honoree" at FEARnyc. She also directed the supernatural horror film called THE DARK ROOM, which premiered at the Catalina Film Festival and won “Best Ensemble” at the Crimson Screen Horror Film Festival. As an actor, Adrienne has played opposite Naomi Watts, Aziz Ansari, Joaquin Phoenix, Sam Rockwell, and Michelle Williams just to name a few. She was a recurring character in BETTER CALL SAUL, FOSSE/VERDON , DASH AND LILY and THE SINNER. She is the founder of THE GARAGE PRODUCTIONS which has created several award-winning films and web series, all of which showcase the underrepresented, the LGBTQIA+ community, and differently-abled people. Adrienne Acevedo Lovette was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and is of Spanish, Taino (indigenous), Afro-Latino, and English descent. Laura K. Marsh, Ph.D. | Book, Libretto, Producer

Dr. Laura K. Marsh is a writer and tropical ecologist. She has written several screenplays and other works of fiction; over one hundred scientific articles, books, and reports; described five new species of saki monkeys; and lead a successful expedition called Houseboat Amazon to find a monkey that had been missing since the 1930s. She wrote the Nichols' awarded screenplay ACROSS THE AMAZONS while working in the field in the Ecuadorian Amazon! After meeting with Ken Davenport at his New York offices on Broadway, they decided the story was also a natural for musical theater. Laura has since re-worked the film version for the stage adding lyrics and set directions. The goal is to have the Across The Amazons Project appear on multiple platforms, including large and small screens and the theater.

 

Justin Rayna | Composer

Justin Rayna is an award-winning composer who works with performers and production companies to help them succeed by realizing their music desires. Getting a unique song that is the right fit for someone can be tricky. Justin has learned by experience how to streamline this process for his clients in any industry. Justin has composed for competitive gymnasts, playwrights, producers, dance companies, artists, churches, theme parks and even films. He has over 20 years in audio engineering, making him a trusted expert in the industry. Justin also has participated in stunt work and has experience in gymnastics, which makes him the perfect fit for creating music with athletes and productions.

 

Laura Goodenow | Co-Producer, Creative Consultant

Laura Goodenow is a librettist, lyricist, poet, editor, writer, producer, and distributor. She's interested in developing stories and works that explore female perspectives and/or portray complex female characters. Her company Real Woman Make Waves is a reminder - to every woman: voices are meant to be heard, not silenced.

 

Angelíca Allen | Demo vocals for Isabel

Angelica, a versatile artist hailing from New York and now residing in London, gained recognition under the moniker My Midnight Heart. Her work has been featured by renowned publications like Vice, SPIN, and Entertainment Weekly. Notable performances include supporting Grammy-Nominated pop duo Teagan and Sara, as well as sharing stages with Solange and Blood Orange. Her music has been featured in various media, including HBO and Bravo. Angelica's collaborations extend to fashion and beauty brands such as All Saints and Converse. Beyond My Midnight Heart, Angelica has showcased her adaptability across genres, performing at festivals worldwide with groups like ESCORT and touring with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. She's also ventured into theater, notably starring in the West End production of the Michael Jackson musical "Thriller Live." With a unique blend of 80s synths and soul-pop vocals, Angelica's forthcoming project, SAINT, showcases her evolving production skills. She continues to work as a session vocalist and composer, contributing to advertisements and scoring for film and television.
